Network Infrastructures

ABSO Communication and Interoute international networks answers all the characteristics of the modern telecom networks, thanks to the use of optical transmission technologies SDH (Synchronous DIGITAL Hierarchy).

Interoute

Aqua Ray has choosen Interoute's network because is the largest in Europe and brings capacity and rich network. Their products and services include high bandwidth capacity, high speed internet access, transit and media streaming.

Network

Interoute's network connects 78 cities in 22 countries across 47,000 cable kilometres of fibre.

  • 20 metropolitan area networks (MANs) in major European centres of business, with further cities planned during 2007
  • One of the largest and most advanced voice and data networks in Europe
  • Own and control their entire network
  • MPLS equipments for communication and routing

BSO Communication

Currently deployed on the majority Internet nodes in Europe, BSO Communication's network is present in France, in the United Kingdom, in the Netherlands, in Belgium, in Switzerland, in Spain, like on the American continent, in New York and Toronto.

This network grid allows a safety and an increased quality of service; the customers thus have the possibility of optimizing the design of their network.

BSO Communication's network was entirely conceived to completely control the service sold to the customer and to answer the following constraints:

Performances

Entirely optical, BSO Communication's network has a European loop SDH STM-4 between Paris, Bruxelle, London and Amsterdam, like two metropolitan area networks:

  • In Paris: 190 kilometres of black fibres connecting more than 10 datacenters,
  • In Amsterdam: black fibre 30 kilometres connecting 2 datacenters.
These two MANs (Metrolopiltan Area Network) ensure a virtually unlimited flow.

Many peerings agreements on the principal European terminal points (AMSIX, PARIX, FREEIX, LINX, TORIX,…), allow a routing into clean traffic, to the doors of the third operators, thus ensuring a whole not-dependence by total opposition to the diagram purchase/resale of the majority market actors.

The strict provisioning management, allows an important oversizing on the whole networks nodes, which guaranteed excellent performances, even in the event of intensive band-width use placed at its disposal.

A routing method, privileging performances compared to costs, always uses the shortest path first routing and less encumbered. The number of AS PATH and jumps is reduced, which makes it possible to have low latency times and optimal performances.

Reliability

BSO Communication's network is entirely made up of multiple redundant optical loops, which the high availability is ensured by dynamic routing BGP technologies.

Network nodes of BSO Communication are securised by strict procedures:

  • Access control reinforced to the buildings
  • Buildings and installations monitoring notably against fire prevention and electric protection
  • Equipment redundancy on which services are provided, supervision systems and maintenance, databases and specifics customers informations
  • Help plans, climbings per gravity degree and time unit
  • Personnel responsibilisation, and procedures limiting possible ill will
  • Vulnerabilities monitoring known on our equipment network
  • Attacks monitoring by DDOS, SYN FLOOD,…
  • Provisioning monitoring of the whole network, in real time

The network is made up with quality MPLS equipments for communication and routing: Foundry Networks IMR 640 routers.
